Triton College’s Hospitality Industry Administration (HIA) Program is not only remodeling its Demonstration Kitchen and Bistro, but the program is also expanding the space of its bakery to meet the needs of students pursuing a Triton degree or certificate in baking and pastry, as well as cake decorating.
The Hospitality Bakery, located in the Student Center Cafeteria, is a fully operational retail bakery and culinary laboratory for Hospitality students at Triton College. The bakery offers students valuable practice in creating confectionery delights as well as hands-on experience in operating a retail business.
Construction workers are currently expanding the area from the outside-in. Check out these photos of how progress is being made:
